Are you ready to grow your TikTok? Get ready to #TikTalk!
Updated: Oct 27, 2022
We know, we know. You probably thought that you were safe from the world’s TikTok obsession here on Hometalk.
Honestly though, we love TikTok. The short, fun videos and the trend setting sounds reel us in, and the endless flow of ideas keeps us coming back for more.
We’re not the only ones who feel that way either. With over 1 billion monthly active users, TikTok is a sure way to grow your brand and go viral, faster.
The catch? Growth takes serious work. Knowing what content will flop and what will fly isn’t always easy to figure out.
We are here to help. We may be your favorite place to share your DIY projects and see serious jumps in traffic, but we also know a thing or two about creating viral video content and growing social platforms.
That’s why we’re introducing #HometalkTikTalk, where we’re making it easier and more fun than ever to create exciting content on TikTok that drives success & growth!
Join our March TikTalk initiative by showing us the DIY project you’re most proud of.
How does it work?
We create a TikTok using a viral trend or sound.
You stitch this video with your take. You can watch our tutorial below for a quick guide on how to stitch a video on TikTok.
Upload your stitch to your TikTok profile.
Add the hashtags #HometalkTikTalk and #Hometalk to the video description so that we can see your TikToks.
At the end of the month, we will choose the most popular videos and editor favorites from the submissions.
From there, we will create a compilation video where we will tag the creators and share the video on the Hometalk TikTok (407,000 followers), Instagram (357,000 followers), Facebook (12 million followers), and Pinterest (5.3 million followers).
